  The hotel dominates both sides on the Main Street in Inveraray. It’s an old building but our room was stylishly modernised and we enjoyed our (too brief) stay there. The bed was comfortable. The floors are a bit squeaky - not unusual in an old building - but it didn’t bother us; it might be annoying if you were a light sleeper and the people in the room above decided to get their 10,000 steps in during the night! Breakfast was in the cafe which is part of the hotel and fronts onto the street - really good food. The staff were lovely.

  Although this is technically a bnb it serves better than some hotels in this area. Yes, there's no concierge, bar or anything other than your room of an evening, but it is splendid to stay here. The rooms are very smart with modern tv's with the typical tea and coffee you would expect. Cleanliness is excellent, and the tea (propper good cuppa in my opinion) is a plus. The brambles itself serves wonderful food with a beautifully artisan feel. Breakfast is really very good indeed, although I personally am not a huge fan of the sausage. I could not recommend the staff enough, they are truly inspirational and genuinely lovely. If you intend to eat out and want somewhere to pit your head in shall we say luxury (compared to other places in invararay this is damn good) I would say look no further. Pics to follow
